Family Movie Nights
The Recreation Commission sponsors several movie nights throughout the year showing newly released, family friendly movies. Summer events are at Townsend Park and, in the winter months, movies are shown in the Municipal Building.
Pickleball Court Now Open
The New Brighton Area Recreation Commission has transformed one of the tennis courts on Grove Avenue into a dedicated pickleball court. This newly renovated facility is now officially open and ready for community use.
Halloween Parade 1 Mile Dash
Prior to the annual Halloween Parade, the Recreation Commission holds their Halloween Parade 1 Mile Dash, an all-ages 1 mile run down Third Avenue. Participants must be registered and encouraged to be dressed in a costume.
